We have a variety of excellent hunting grounds – meeting every requirement.

Area (approx.): 20 km2 / 5000 acres

Species: Grouse, hare, fox, marten, crow, magpie, raven and Eurasian jay (dependent on hunting season).

Description: The hunting ground is located in the area west of the Evardalen valley in Setesdal Vesthei Ryfylkeheiane – north of the Brokke–Suleskard road in the southwestern part of Valle municipality. The hunting ground is a consecutive area with a topographic variation. It contains bogs and some shrub vegetation – and typical mountain terrain. It stretches from around 900 and up to 1200 metres above sea level. The most prevalent wildlife is grouse (rock ptarmigan and willow grouse) and hare (plus predatory animals).

Access: From the Brokke–Suleskard road – into the eastern part of the Evardalen valley.

Toll road: Yes

Regulations and requirements: The hunting licence fee must be paid. Bring along the licence. You are obliged to submit a report after completed hunt. Keep your dog on leash when crossing other property on your way to the hunting ground.

Limitations: The hunting licence is only valid for the holder. Bag limit: 2 grouse per hunter per day.

Area (approx.): 10 km2 (2500 acres)

Species: Grouse, black grouse, fox, marten, crow, magpie, raven and Eurasian jay (dependent on hunting season).

Description: The hunting ground is located in the area next to the Brokke–Suleskard road; from Mt. Løefjell in the east and towards the Evardalen valley. It has to some extent been parcelled into smaller sections, as several cabins have been set up in this region. The effective hunting area is therefore somewhat less than stated (10,000 daa) to ensure safe and practical hunting. The hunting ground is has a topographic variation and a diverse vegetation. It stretches from around 650 and up to 950 metres above sea level. The most prevalent wildlife is grouse, black grouse, hare and fox.

Access: From the Brokke–Suleskard road. Parking at the Jarnsverk parking place. Fee for overnight/24-hour stay. Day parking free of charge.

Tollroad: Mountain road to the Evardalen valley.
